about

Reference Points, a collection of songs that were influenced one way or another by an outside source that greatly brought them to their final stage. These songs all had "reference points" to look back on that helped to develop each track.

As an example, 20 Kats is a direct nod at the songs 20 kards and 20 kids by musical genius C418, or how the initial sound in Social Alarm tries to emulate a voice chat ringtone, such as what can be found on Discord or Skype. Still others reference previous songs of mine and act as spiritual sequels like "The Saw," which is a sequel to "The Sine" from my album "Retrospective." There is also a direct remix of an old song of mine on here of "Walk Free," from my album "Raw Frequencies." This newly refurbished remix is dubbed "Walk Freely."

Going into the entire production of this album, A lot of these were started almost more than a year ago, and over the last year they were continually worked on and changed. A couple of them have had drastic changes from their first drafts, while others kept a more static development.

I hope you find something in this release that you can treasure for the rest of your life, as I will treasure all the memories and experiences attached with the making of it.

P.S This album is best listened to with the loudest sound system you can access
